Melanie (nee: BISSONNETTE) McIsaac
Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 after a courageous battle with brain cancer , Melanie (Mel) Alison McIsaac (Bissonnette) RN of London at the age of 31 years. Melanie was a graduate nurse from the University of Western Ontario. Loved by her husband John McIsaac of London. Cherished and proud mother of Cameron. Beloved daughter of Mary Beth and Richard Bissonnette of London. Dearly loved sister of Jenn Bissonnette of San Diego, Calif. Cherished daughter-in-law of Frauke and John McIsaac of Nairn. Dearest sister-in-law of Corinna McIsaac of Toronto. Proud granddaughter of Dominique and the late Wilma Bissonnette and the late William and Elizabeth Libby, all of Maidstone. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Predeceased by her uncle Fred Libby of Calgary.
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Thursday from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The celebration of Melanie’s life will be held at St. John the Divine Parish 390 Baseline Road, West, London, Ont. N6J 1W1 on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 am. Father Pio D’oria celebrating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Cameron McIsaac Trust Fund gratefully acknowledged. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday evening at 7:00 pm.
