I have many fond memories of Waldie from his days at the race track and then from his auction house. Always was enjoyable when he was auctioning a piano as he would treat us with a sample of his musical talents and you knew he was really enjoying it. Just last year Doug Angus obtained Waldie's autograph on a race photo with him and Bill Daniels. I will forever treasure that photo. My condolences to the family, he was a great guy.

We will miss Waldie very much. His smile and sense of humor brightened any day. We can still picture him walking up the Court with Kelly. No doubt he is walking Kelly up in heaven now. You're a wonderful family and our condolences go out to all of you. We here on the Court have lost a wonderful friend and neighbour.

Hello John & Wendy! It is with heavy hearts that we send these words to you. After losing a set of parents recently, we know the sense of loss that you are going through. We must remember that life and death are necessary components of this world . We must embrace them both even though it is difficult. We offer these few remarks as a token of our fondness for your extended family even though our contact has been somewhat intermitant. We are thinking of you during this time of loss. regards, Nancy & Ken

To the Allen family - My deepest condolences to you all. When I think of Waldie, I think of his fantastic smile and how it would light up any room he was in. I also think about how happy I was to see a piano for sale at the auction because it usually meant that he would play it for a few minutes. With warm and heartfelt sympathy.
