So sorry to hear about your loss Piet and Johanna. Your dad was always such a figurehead at your house and I was so glad that he shared a small portion of the stories of the amazing variety of things he did in his life with me when I would be visiting at your home. I think in elementary school I actually might have been a little afraid of your dad but in high school I got to better understand he was so funny, in a gruff, slightly sarcastic way. He was so well read and could discuss such a breadth of topics, something I see replicated in both of you actually. I know he was a central part of your life, and for all your family and will truly be missed. You and your whole family are in Janna and my thoughts.
