Peacefully at Glendale Crossing with his loving family by his side on Monday, September 11, 2017, Douglas Monk of London at the age of 80 years.  Beloved husband for 58 years of Marion Monk.  Loving father of Lynda Monk and Peter Allan of Salt Spring Island, B.C. and Jeff Monk and Diane Oursin of London.  Proud Papa of Jackson and Jesse Allan. 

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Wednesday from    2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. where the celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation with interment at White Oak Cemetery at a later date.  Donations to the Alzheimer SocietyLondon/Middlesex, 435 Windermere Road, London, Ontario, N5X 2T1, www.alzheimerlondon.ca gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
