Obituary of Ray Ravine Gorvett

Ray Gorvett Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, January 9, 2016, Ray Ravine Gorvett of London and formerly of St. Thomas in his 77th year. Ray worked at Hayes-Dana Victor Gasket for many dedicated years until his retirement. He had a passion for country music and played the guitar in h9is bands "Country Gentlemen" and "Country Kin". Special partner of Fran Newman of London. Beloved father of Michele Annette Thomas-Argall (Shawn Argall) of Cambridge and Gregory Ray Thomas (Kat Delsey Harvey) of Victoria Island, B.C. Brother of Noreen (Gord) Hatch of St. Thomas. Grandfather of Scott Shoup, Brianna Shoup, Karley Thomas, Paul Thomas, Sarah Thomas, Tyler Thomas and Jamie Thomas. Several great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents Ravine (Veen) and Kathleen (Shelley) Gorvett. Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from noon -1:00 pm where the celebration of Ray’s life will follow at 1:00 pm.
