Peacefully at Parkwood Institute in the arms of his wife, sons and granddaugther on Friday, May 25, 2018, Pete Verberne of Komoka at the age of 63 years.  Beloved husband for 38 years of MaryAnn Verberne of Komoka.  Best Dad of Nick and Paul of Alberta.  Proud Opa of Emilia.  Loved by Rose and Jack Caris, Steve and Courtney, Jeremy and Jen and nieces.  Will be missed by his mother-in-law Mary Berkelmans and his favourite companion JJ.  Special thanks to the loving caregivers, Theresa Zylawy and Scott and Gail Pearson and the special staff of McLennan Flowers, Lambeth.  

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth, 519-652-2020 on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where the celebration of Pete’s life will be held in the Stevenson-McWade Chapel of McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home on Sunday, May 27th, 2018 at 1:00 pm.  Donations to Parkwood Institute, H2 Unit or McCormick Home Alzheimer Outreach Support (AOS) gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
