Marlene Hanash

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marlene Hanash (née MacKay) of London and formerly of Ottawa and Montreal at Chelsey Park at the age of 78 on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.  She is lovingly remembered by her son Keith Hanash (Veronika) and daughter Karen Earhart (Michael).  Deeply missed Sito to her grandchildren Charlie and Tyler.  She is preceded by her parents William Hector and Mary Amelia MacKay and by her sisters Joyce Tymchak (René) and Barbara MacKay. Marlene was devoted to her family and put their needs above her own.  She spent over 30 years in real estate, a career she pursued with great enthusiasm.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London (Lambeth), 519-652-2020 on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 11 am – 12 pm.  A private family service will follow at 12 pm.  Reverend Matthew Penny officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society, 435 Windermere Road, London, Ontario, N5X 2T1, www.alzheimerlondon.ca  gratefully acknowledged.  On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Chesley Park for the special care given to Marlene over the past years.  A very special thank you to Brenda Daley for her compassion and support to our mother.
