Baker, Marion Eva (nee Laidlaw)

Peacefully at home, Marion passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in her 87th year. Beloved wife for 65 years of Jack Baker. Loving mother of Janice (Brent Pennington) Baker and Linda (Ed Black) Baker.  Predeceased by daughter Nancy (1979). Cherished Nana of James Black. Much loved sister of Lillian (the late Al) Findlay, Norm (Penny) Laidlaw, and the late Ken (Norma) Laidlaw.  Sister in-law of the late Frank (Ida) Baker and the late Jean (Ed) Skinner.  Fondly remembered Aunt to her nieces and nephews.

the family will receive friends at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth (519) 652-2020, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. where the celebration of Marion’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m.  Donations to Littlewood United Church, c/o Jean Whitehead, 8074 Littlewood Drive, London, Ontario  N6P 1P3, London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London, Ontario  N6C 9Z9 or Charity of Choice are gratefully acknowledged.  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.

We were truly honoured by the number who took time out of their busy schedules to pay their respects to Marion, all the fond memories shared, the floral tributes and donations made in her honour.  Special thanks to Rev.
