Robert “Bob” Weir

Peacefully at his residence, on Monday, May 20, 2019, Robert “Bob” Weir of London and formerly of Hamilton in his 85th year.  Beloved husband for 60 years of Elizabeth (Emberson) Weir.  Loving father of Mary-Ellen Fisher (Terry) and Rob (Lisa).  Proud granddad of Braden, Megan, Michael, Ellie, Colin and GG Pops of Greyson.  Survived by his brother-in-law Bud Emberson and his nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by his sister Catherine and his brother James.  Bob was a proud charter member of the Knights of Columbus, St. André Council 8339 and retired from Ford Motor Company, St. Thomas and Oakville after 42 years of service. 

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth (519-652-2020) on Sunday,  from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.  Prayers at the funeral home at  3:45 p.m.  Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 27, 2019 at St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Blvd., London, ON N6E 2S2 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mark Poulin celebrant.  Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada, 442 Adelaide Street N., London, ON  N6B 3H8 or The Heart & Stroke Foundation (London), 633 Colborne Street, #180, London, ON  N6B 2V3 gratefully acknowledged.
