James Bobier

Suddenly at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2019, James (Jim) Ernest Bobier of London in his 77th year.  Jim was born Friday, March 12, 1943 in London, Ontario.  Jim grew up in Strathroy, raised his family in Glencoe and has lived in London for the past 30 years.  Jim’s career included the wholesale and retail grocery business, and he spent many years volunteering with Parent Finders to help birth parents and adoptees reunite..

Loving father of Cori and Carl Krizan, Steve and Judy Bobier and Sue and Rick Thompson, all of London.  Proud Papa of Paige, Ethan, Curtis, Emma, Katie, Christian and Lauren.  Jim was also loved by Jan Bobier and Deb Atkinson.  Jim's siblings include Patricia and Gary Chapple, David Scragg, Sue and the late Greg Rankin, the late Ron Walker and his wife June.  Jim was predeceased by his parents Wilf Bobier (1979) and Lee Bobier (2003).  Jim will also be missed by his beloved cat Charlie.

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth (519-652-2020) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
