Glen Frederick Darling

Peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, Glen Darling of Byron in his 89th year.  Beloved husband for 65 years of the late Lois Darling (Williams) (July 27, 2018).  Loving father of the late Rob Darling (2016), Dan Darling and James Darling all of Byron.  Proud grandfather of Michael and Ellissa Darling, the late Jeffrey Darling (2007), Jennifer and Ryan Butler, Lara and Greg Caldwell, Colton Smith Darling and his great-grandchildren Layna and Everett Darling.  Predeceased by his 2 brothers.  Survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, business associates and his “Prayer Meeting” buddies. 

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London, ON (519) 652-2020 on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon where the celebration of Glen’s life will follow at 12:00 noon.  Reverend Jim Evans officiating.  Cremation with a private family interment Woodland Cemetery at a later date.   Donations to Diabetes Canada, 442 Adelaide Street N., London, ON  N6B 3H8 gratefully acknowledged.   On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
