Obituary of Jean I. Parker

Jean Parker Peacefully at Veteran’s Care, Parkwood Institute on Friday, February 19, 2016, Jean I. Parker of London in her 99th year. Beloved wife for 34 years of the late Douglas Parker (1978). Loving mother of the late Lois Parker (1999), James and Wanda of Mississauga, Michael and Connie of St. Thomas and Janice and Brian Allen of Coralville, Iowa. Dearly loved by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Predeceased by her brothers Ross, Thomas and Murdoch and her granddaughter Sarah. At Jean’s request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service celebrating Jean’s life will be held at the Kilworth United Church (2442 Oxford St., West, London N6K 4P2) on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Cathy Tovell officiating. Cremation with interment at Woodhull Cemetery, Kilworth. Donations to Parkwood Institute or the Canadian Mental Health Association gratefully acknowledged.
