Peacefully at Country Terrace, with his loving family by his side, on Monday, November 25, 2019, Clare Roger Hatt, of Lambeth in his 87th year. Clare was the top blood donor in Canada for several years and was very involved in the Masonic Lodge. Clare was the proud owner of Clare Hatt Cycle and Sports for 37 years.
Beloved husband for 56 years of Patricia Hatt of Lambeth. Loving father of Christian of Rossland, B.C., and Kelly and Barry Taylor of Ingersoll. Proud grandfather of Jaden and Brooke Taylor. Dear brother-in-law of the late Douglas McConnell and Marilyn and Linda and Gerry Vrieswyk.
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m., where the celebration of Clare's life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. A Masonic Lodge Memorial Service under the auspices of Union #380 will be held on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Clare was also a member of St. Paul’s #107, Lambeth. A special thank you to the very special staff of Country Terrace.
