Whenever my mom would speak of Jan, I would smile as it brought me back to my younger days, of family get togethers and our special Halloween's we would share together. You truly were a wonderful woman and will be missed greatly.
My thoughts are with Mike and my bonus cousins at this time.
Love;
Ashley and Evelyn

Jan taught me forgiveness at a very young age. I was petrified to tell her I had stolen a piggy bank from the kids. She was firm with me but also so kind. It was this day I learned a lesson I share with my children today. Thank you Jan for your kind smile and big heart. Love Jeremy

Jeremy,
I love that you shared this memory of my mom. There were times when I pushed the limits, took things out on her, argued to no end. She always forgave me, which taught me about unconditional love. My aunt told me "The deeper the love, the deeper the grief." She is deeply loved and grieved by many.

From our crazy days of young married life to proud parents and then grandparents; Jan was a true force. She was quiet, clever, and loving. We will miss Jan and all the fun we shared as a family, especially our many foursome dinners over the past 41 years. That, we shall miss the most. Our love and sorrow go out to you Mike, Cyd, Leigh (Maria and Seth), Jan’s Dad and siblings. This is a tragic loss for your family, we hope you can find solace in your love for each other. Our hearts are heavy with Jan’s passing.
Our love to you,
Hart and Sharon xx

On behalf of the Canadian Women’s Club of Chicago I extend our heartfelt condolences to Mike and family.
Jan joined CWCC over 20 years ago when her children were young and they were living in Lake Forest. Family was everything to Jan. Her smile lit up the room when talking about her children and grandchildren.We shall miss our dear friend and her beautiful smile. May the love you shared and the memories you made as a family and your faith comfort you and give you peace at this difficult time.

Dear Paula:
Thank you so much for your condolences. When my brothers and I were talking about Janice and putting this in place, I could not remember the acronym for the Canadian Women’s Club. You were all so very important and dear friends to her.

To Mike and Family, Uncle Hugh, Jeff, Chris , and Marc and families.
We were shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Janice's passing. Although we have not seen Janice and Mike's family in a number of years, they where always in our thoughts. The world travelers. She was able to see parts of this world that the vast majority of people will never have the opportunity to see. Life is short and she made the most of it.
Our thoughts are with you.
Tim and Suzanne Wright and family.
