Marion was a good friend and work colleague of my mother, Hazel Amos.
Marion and mom loved to chat on the phone and exchange books throughout the years. When I was a young adult, I moved into the same building that Marion and her son Dave lived in and they would look out for me. I remember one time, there was a storm and the power was out in the building and I needed to go to work. Marion took her flash light and shone it down the stairwell while Dave walked me down those stairs, making sure I was ok.
Marion also gave me a household tip....how to keep celery crisp for a long time. I still apply her knowledgeable tip today and I pass it on to my friends.
I will always think of Marion with fond thoughts.
R.I.P. dear friend.
