To Jamie, Adam and Stacey: I'm sorry that I didn't get to know each of you over the years. Your Dad and I became friends way back in grade two when we attended Lambeth Public School, then Duffield. Our friendship lasted a lifetime. I have many early memories of days playing at the farm, of riding our dirt bikes around the "hilly field", and so many others. We stayed friends through high school and early into our working lives. We particularly enjoyed going to the motocross and flat track races, and occasionally to the drags in Sparta or Cayuga. With the busyness of family life and work, there was a time when we didn't see too much of each other. Even during those days your Dad always made time to phone me at midnight on New Years every year. When we did get back together, it seemed that we picked right up where we left off. In more recent times, we spent some Friday nights playing music together....your Dad on drums of course, and me with a guitar. At that time, Colonel Talbot was under construction in front of the farm, so the traffic would often be slow or backed up. We told ourselves that this was the lineup of our fans coming in to hear us play. We shared many, many laughs and a few tears too. Your dad was very open in sharing his life with me. Sometimes we would just sit with our instruments and talk, and not play at all. He spoke so very proudly of you three and your families, so I got to know each of you a little bit in that way. He didn't miss a chance to share a photo or a story of you, and I enjoyed seeing the excitement in him when he spoke of you. He was kind and generous to me, and I'll miss him a lot. My thoughts are with each of you during this time of grieving. I'm sorry for your loss.

I attended AE Duffield school with Tim. He was always such a character both at school and on that long bus ride home. As I ran into him in the past few years I was always happy to see that he had kept that bright boyish spirit that I remembered so well. To his family I extend my deepest condolences and hope that you find comfort in your memories of Tim.

I am a close friend to Tim’s daughter, Jamie, and spent a lot of time at his farm as a child and teenager. I have truly incredible memories there. Tim was such a fun loving and caring man. He always made us laugh. We never watched TV unless it was Saturday night hockey and then he would yell at the TV so passionately. If we slept in too late, he would pour cold water on our heads with a big smile on his face.
One of the most memorable moments was when my mom came to pick me up in her new car and his dog, Reba, peed on her tires. Tim loved the story so much, he retold the story for years to come.
He loved his farm and his children more than anything. I am so grateful to have met him and experience his zest for life.
Jamie, Adam, Stacey and family: I am so sorry for your loss. Sending my love and positive thoughts to you all during this very difficult time.
Love,
Natalie

Our sincerest of condolences to Bob and Tim's family; immediate and extended. Tim was always a welcome addition to any of our family functions and will be greatly missed. I will personally miss his support in continuing to wave the Leafs flag in front of the "less enlightened" family members. With life, as in hockey, it's nice to win but it's also important to be remembered for how you played the game ... and Tim did both with enthusiasm ... all in and playing hard until the final horn. Safe travels Tim, and as they say, "Keep your stick on the ice".

Ahhh Timothy Scott. He will be sorely missed. Words cannot convey his way with people. Charismatic, charming, winsome. A gift for the blarney. The ability to poke, provoke and prod in a nice way, himself included. He paid attention to others - gestures, nuances, their words and sense of things. Their faces. He could energize a group, bring laughter, spark conversation. He was such a kind human. Like all, his life had serious challenges but his love for his kids and grandkids made him more determined and thankful. Our thoughts are with Jamie (Chris), Adam (Amanda) and Stacey (Chris) - and Olivia, Cole, Cora and Reid. This photo was from a recent family wedding - brothers Bob, Tim, Tom and Ted.

I am so sorry to hear about Tim. Although I hadn’t seen Tim in a couple of years, I can’t help but smile thinking of all the fun we had as kids. Whether it was riding mini bikes in the summer or snowmobiling and pond hockey in the winter, we had a lot of great times growing up. Another classic memory was getting dressed up as rock stars and lip syncing Let it Be and No Sugar Tonight in front of the school in grade six. Tim was on drums of course. I’m lucky to have known Tim; he will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have so many amazing memories of Tim. From playing together as kids (including hours and hours of pond hockey), to playing minor hockey in Lambeth together, bringing in hay and having a cold beer and lots of laughs after, and more recently when Tim helped us to take down our barn. I think he was in his glory working on the tractor with a cigar in his mouth, and chirping us for pretty much everything. Rest in peace Tim
