Hi Auntie Dona and family,
We were very sad to hear of the passing of Uncle Bob. We have wonderful memories of you and your family visiting our house in Toronto on Boxing Day with the Grays. Auntie Dona, we loved your lovely smile and great personality. We certainly remember Uncle Bob's deep voice and sense of humour. Leanne was still small back then and would often sit on her dad's lap when you visited.
My parents (Jane and Fred Pearson) were friends of yours since high school days, I believe, and we have many pictures of you, Auntie Dona, with Mom when she was a teenager. Dad died in 2017, but Mom is in a long-term care home in Ottawa. She has dementia, but last visit I showed her a picture of you and your sister and Mom recognized your sister and said her name!
Please give our regards to your whole family, and hope all of you are well, in spite of your loss. Special hello to Patty Clark, whose birthday I thought of recently, for some reason (April 3?).
Love, The Pearson Family: Barbara (Kielbiski), Lesley (Parker), Glenn Pearson, John Pearson and Jane Pearson.

I always admired how Bob (always with his partner Dona by his side) was up for anything. A lunch or dinner out, a road trip, a party or to cheer on Pat in a running race. I loved hearing the stories of the visits and adventures through Leanne. He has left such an incredible legacy through all of you who loved him so deeply. I am so sorry that his journey has come to an end. I am certain that the next road he takes will be paved with love.
My most heartfelt sympathy to each of you. I hope in time the lifetime of memories and that you loved him and he loved you unconditionally will lift your sadness.
Rest in peace Bob.
Love Jocelyn

Bob....the best “race dad” ever. Always came to our running events cheering us on from the sidelines. Sharing our highs and our lows. Our forever breakfast buddy at Edgar and Joes. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his whole amazing family and our race mom Dona.
