I want to express how sorry I am for your loss. I worked for Harold at Towers 50 years ago. He was a mentor to me as well as a friend. Even though we haven’t been in contact for many years I always think of him with great respect and cherish those memories.

Dear Aunt Leone, Debbie and Cathy,
We are so sorry for your loss and wanted to express our deepest condolences. Uncle Harold was always so upbeat and funny and we will remember him fondly. Even from the time I was a child, I remember him saying at every dinner that "that was the best meal I've had all day" and he always had such an easy, joking relationship with Ed and my Dad, Doug. His relationship with his brothers throughout their lives, and with all of us is an inspiration. We are lucky to have known Uncle Harold and we will miss him.
With love,
Kim

Now I don't know my Great-Uncle Harold very well, but my biggest memory of him is every birthday party, Santa Claus parade and fun event in our family that he comes to he'll come and find me in the crowd and he'd says, "You've got to take care of my baby brother." Now, the first time he said that I had no idea who he was or who his baby brother was so I just smiled and nodded. After asking my Mom who that strange nice man was she explained that he is my great Uncle Harold, Grandpa's brother. Now Grandpa, that was someone I knew, so from then on he became Grandpa's Brother in my eyes.
The next event, sure enough he found me running around and playing tag and he stopped me and said "You've taken care of my baby brother, thank you. Keep taking care of my baby brother." Every party we had, he'd say the same thing, over and over again until it was something I would expect and look forward to. When I was a couple of years older, he told me the same thing and then I started thinking "Who's going to look after you?" I asked. He winked and said don't "Don't worry about me kiddo." That is just the type of person he is. He is kind and selfless, beyond comparison. He is always so worried about everyone else that he never thinks about himself and his needs. He puts everyone else's need before him. Only now do I realize who is looking after him. Everyone who has fallen under his spell, who loves him with all of their hearts, that's who is looking after him. He has touched so many hearts in his life and I am no exception. He is such a kind man and I can think of only one quote that suits him perfectly, "Give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you." - Madeline Bridges.
He is such a lucky man, for he has an amazing family. He has Leone, Cathy, Debbie, Madison, Andrew, Amy and my Grandpa. Those are just a small handful. He is so selfless and kind that words can't even begin to describe it. Although I think "You've got to take care of my baby brother" is a start. We love you Uncle Harold, so much!

Sincere condolences Debbie and Cathy on the passing of your dear father. I have great memories of both him and your mother from our younger years. He had a wonderful sense of humour. Thinking of you both, and of course your mother, at this sad time.
