Obituary of Archie Bailie

Archie Bailie Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 Archie Bailie of London and formerly of Ingersoll, in his 73rd year. Survived by his son Jimmy. Dear brother of Betty, Jim (Patricia) and Jack (Lauraine). Fondly remembered by his nephews David and Travis and nieces Alison and Susan and their families. Archie will be sadly missed by his long time special friend Linda Windsor and her family. Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland in 1943, Archie was the eldest son of the late James and Catherine Bailie. Archie will be missed by his many, many friends, his brotherhood of Local 27, his golfing buddies, the London Knights organization and all the people who were so important and special in his life and such a comfort to him at the end. A celebration of Archie’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Unifor Local 27, 606 First Street, London, Ontario, N5V 2A2. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment at a later date.
