Marie Lobban passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital with her loving family by her side on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the age of 94, one week shy of her 95th birthday. Marie was born September 12, 1926 to Alfie and Sarah Mitchell of Strathroy, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Vince Lobban of London. Loving mother of John and Marlene Lobban of London and Ann Marie and Bill Reymer of Aylmer. Proud grandmother of John, Jared, Nicole, Amy (Geoff), Karen, and Lindsay. Predeceased by dear sister Elsie and brother-in-law John Mattern of Michigan, and nephew Thomas Mattern.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to Covid19 precautions there will be no visitation. The celebration Mass for Marie will be held at St. Anne Parish, 20 Morrison Drive, St., Thomas, Ont. N5R 4S6 on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 am.  Father John Johnson officiating.  Interment St. Peter’s cemetery.  Donations to the London Regional Cancer Program, 800 Commissioners Road East, P.O. Thank you to the amazing friends and staff at Ashwood Manor in Lambeth. Marie enjoyed her few years at Ashwood and was an endless joke-teller. She had a great sense of humor and was well known for her quick wit and bright smile. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
