Obituary of Lorna Mae Emily Monteith

Lorna Monteith (nee: Sutton) Peacefully at the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital with her family by her side, on Thursday, May 12, 2016, Lorna Mae Emily Monteith of Lambeth (Delaware Township) in her 92nd year. Beloved wife for 70 years of Stewart Monteith. Loving mother of Hugh and Nancy, Gloria, Janice and Barry Abbott, Nancy and George Bergsma and Lianne and Jim Todd. Proud and loving grandma of Robin and Todd Herriman, Dawn and Guy Miskelly, Craig Abbott (Shau), Gail and Jason Stafford, Cheryl Monteith (Sean), Geoff Bergsma, Alissa and Chris McCleave, Emily Bergsma (Adam) Eveline Todd and Stewart Todd. Loving great-grandma of Riley, Rhys, Jesse, Madeline, Liam, Nathalie, Nicole, Mikayla and the late Dillon (2002). Beloved sister of Eileen Monteith and the late Gordon Monteith and Trevor (Margaret) Sutton. Loved sister-in-law of Velma and the late Eric Pulham, Mary (Leverne) Scott, Doris Hinge, Larry Monteith (Gisele) and the late Evelyn and Bill McPherson. Also loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Sunday from 2-4 pm where the celebration of Lorna’s life will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
