Janis, Kerri and Pat...I just learned today of the loss of your mom. I am SO very sorry for your loss. I have innumerable amazing memories of our childhood days together on Helena Montague Ave. I remember vividly your mom's smile as your dad ("Shorty") and I ("Stretch") needled one another in good fun about our respective height differences. We all spent so much time together in one another's homes that I'm sure our mom's weren't entirely sure just how many kids they each had! Your mom was the one who rushed me to the emergency department when I split my head open after flying headlong into your dad's car after tripping on a brick in your lawn as we raced around your birch tree. Your mom, like mine, took it all in stride and somehow managed to enjoy the chaos of us kids. Word fail at times like these when all we hold dear seems to slip through our fingers. I am praying for all of you today as you celebrate her life and in the days ahead as you mourn her loss. I am confident that you each will carry the very best parts of her in your hearts and that she will live on in the lives of those she loved the most! She will not be forgotten. With sincere sympathy...Donna Frezell, London, ON
