Maria Honfi

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Friday. September 9, 2022, Maria Magdolna Honfi of Lambeth and formerly of Delhi, Ontario, passed away at the age of 87.  Beloved wife of the late Karoly (Charlie) Honfi (1997).  Dear sister of Emma Ponta and of the late Bela Szalancz, both in Hungary.  Dear godmother to Elizabeth Fulop of London and Cathy Nagy of Niagara Falls.  Survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins in Hungary and in Canada.

Maria was a baker for many years at Spicer's Bakery, then at Donut Delite Cafe, both in Delhi.  She was also a member of the Delhi District Hungarian House.
