Obituary of Donna Helen Lamon

Donna Helen Arville Lamon (Doris) (nee Loupret) Donna passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice London. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) in 1988. Donna was born to Louis Loupret and Helen Hutson in North Bay, Ontario … June 6, 1926. She was the ninth of ten children and the last surviving member of her generation. Donna spent her adolescent years growing up in the Montreal area and at a very young age enlisted in the Canadian Navy. She was always proud of her service with the forces. She eventually settled in the London area where she spent the biggest part of her life. The last 30 years of her working life were spent as a Civil Servant with the Department of National Defence. Donna is survived by several nieces and nephews who reside anywhere from Ontario out to the western provinces and as far away as Hay River, NWT. Sadly she was predeceased by 4 nephews John Tooher, Jim Tooher, Arthur Loupret and Michael Morrisette and 1 great niece Sara Tooher. Friends may visit at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street E. (at Wavell) on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 10 … 11 a.m. where the celebration of Donna’s life will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice.
