Obituary of Jean Buck

Wilma Jean Buck

Peacefully at the Village of Glendale Crossing on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Jean Buck (nee: Evans) of London in her 91^st year.  Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Carl Buck (2014).  Loving mother of Deborah and Doug Zapfe and Nancy Thomson, all of London and the late infant son Billy (1956).  Proud Grandma (Grams) of Alison Dewbury (Gabe) of Calgary, Derek Zapfe (Danielle) of Strathroy, Jacqueline Thomson (Dan), Meghan, Ryan and Mitchell Thomson (Melanie) all of London. and 4 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by her sister Helen Keays Howard of Ilderton.                                                  

Friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Jean’s life to be held at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London, Ontario N6P 1L1 (519-652-2020) on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.  A Private family interment will take place at the Dorchester Union Cemetery.  Donations to St. Andrews Westminster United Church, 2008 Glanworth Drive, London, Ontario N6H 1H4 or the London Regional Cancer Program, Breast Cancer, 790 Commissioners Road East, London, Ontario N6A 4L6 gratefully acknowledged.   HoHOn-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.

The family would like to thank the Villages of Glendale Crossing, Pond Mills Crossing for their care and compassion, but above all the humour, ability to withstand the sharp wit and attitude that carried Mom through.
