Harold Wimperis

Unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Harold G. Wimperis of Lambeth six days prior to his 95^th birthday.  Beloved husband for 66 years of the late Pauline Wimperis (July 5, 2017).  Loving father of Alan and Baiba Wimperis of Rodney.  Dear brother of Hazel and Len Brown. Predeceased by his brother James C. Wimperis (June 1, 2001). Loved by his sister-in-law Marjorie Wimperis.  He will be dearly missed by his four-legged furry friend Rusty.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Harold built his own home and lived in it for over 70 years until his passing.  Harold loved life and he was so active right up until the end.  He still drove, taught himself to play the piano four years ago, he loved boating, singing, the Blue Jays and Leafs, but most of all he loved Alan, Baiba and Rusty.

We loved his Dad jokes, but he loved them more.  As to Harold’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A Celebration of Harold’s life will be held at a later date.  Donations to the Arthritis Society Canada,400 York St., Suite 204, London, Ont.
