Obituary of Elly Marie Clifford

Elly Marie Clifford Peacefully at University Hospital with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, Elly Marie Clifford (nee Swart) of London at the age of 63 years. Beloved wife of 34 years to Bill Clifford of London. Loving Mother of Christine Marie (Blair) Carter of Byron. Proud Grandma of Jackson and Sarah Carter. Dear sibling of Annie (Ted) Franssen de Jeu, Simon (Joanne) Swart, Tony (Ann) Swart, Fred (Nellie) Swart, Lida (Gerry) Grazietti, Jerry (Dorothy) Swart, and Tinny (Mike) Hanas. Elly was also loved by many brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins who reside in Holland, Italy and Canada. Pre-deceased by her parents John and Mary Swart and sister, also named Lida. Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth on Tuesday, August 23 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The mass celebrating Elly’s life will be held at St. Michael’s Parish, 511 Cheapside St, London on Wednesday, August 24 at 11am. Father Murray Sample celebrating. Cremation with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery will be at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation are gratefully appreciated.
