Obituary of Robert James Davis
Davis, Robert James
Unexpectedly, doing what he loved most and in his typical fashion of helping others, Bob passed away on Monday, May 13th, 2024.
Bob is survived by his school sweetheart and beloved wife of 50 years, Deb, their devoted son Ben (Jane), and the cherished lights of life, grandchildren Hunter & Layla, whom he adored beyond measure.
He will be deeply missed by his sister Betty (Leroy) and the entire Poole family, with whom he shared countless joyful memories. Bob will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Thyra & Mal, Ted & Fran, and their respective families, all of whom meant the world to him. He was predeceased by his parents, Larry & Rose Davis, his brother Ed, and In Laws Ray and Betty Rowe.
To know Bob, was truly to love Bob. His legacy of kindness, unwavering sense of humour, and tireless work ethic will forever be cherished and celebrated by his many friends and extended family members. His presence brought laughter to every gathering, leaving behind a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his passion for helping others, Bob found great happiness in tinkering in his garage, where he restored his beloved ‘63 Chevy Impala. His skillful hands and creative spirit were evident in every project he undertook, reflecting his deep love for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
In honouring Bob’s memory, let us carry forward his spirits of generosity and love, keeping alive the values he held dear and the joy he brought into our lives.
