Leroy was my Scout leader from about 1972-1976 and then when I became too old for Scouts, he let my friend Kevin and I stay on for a couple of years as assistant leaders. I learned so much from Leroy and he had such a huge influence on my life. I can trace my love of nature, camping and hiking back to Leroy. I am sure there are hundreds of people who have similar memories and stories about Leroy. I will never forget all those memories, from attending the Boy Scout Jamboree in PEI, to winter camping at Camp Sylvan, to his guidance that allowed me to attain my Governor General's award in Scouting. Thank you Leroy, and condolences to all your family and friends.

Sincere condolences to you Betty and to all of your extended family. Leroy was so respected by all who knew him; an incredible asset to Lambeth for so many years. My(Joe) most memorable connection with Leroy is when we organized the Harvestfest Church Service, twenty some years ago, when we were informed it was definitely not going to happen. In a very short time-frame, following my phone call to Leroy, we planned it and carried out what so many told us was one of the best ever. The number of youth so positively affected by Leroy is legendary. He is being missed by so many thankful Lambeth and area residents; a life well-lived, for sure. Ionne & Joe Woodall.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Leroy. He was a great help to us in ministering to the people of Lambeth United, going so far as to help move our office from St. Thomas to Lambeth when we first came to the church. Leroy was always helpful and willing to use his skills for the betterment of the church and others.
We hope that faith and family will bring comfort to all the members of his family. He will be missed.
God be with you all.
