Shirley Loretta Smith Shirley Loretta Smith (nee James) of Chelsey Park Retirement Home in her 84th year passed away peacefully at University Hospital on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Predeceased by her loving husband Bev and dear daughter Donna. Cherished Mom of Jan & Rick Harding, Len & Brenda Smith and Les & Debbie Smith. Beloved Nanny of Kara Harding, Krista Harding, Tiffany Smith (Owen), Melissa Smith, Katie Burns (Kelly) and Kelley Rodgers (Chris). Step-grandmother of John Hamilton (Kim) and Bryan Russell (Holly). Adored by several great- grandchildren. Loved sister of Gord James (Shirley). Predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Wagner, Marion Morlock and Ron James. Sister in law of Harold Wagner, Dorothy Trevithick and Marion Smith. Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a later date.
