Dear Janice, Wayne, Brian, your spouses, and each of Maxi's precious grandchildren...
My sincere condolences on the passing of your beautiful Momma and Nana! She is adding extra joy to Heaven with her goodness, her ever-present smile and laughter, her musicality, her faith and her love! She leaves behind memories for family and friends to cherish.
Maxi treasured her family; they came first in her heart and her life. She valued her friends, as we valued her.
I will never forget you, sweet Maxi, and I am forever grateful that God made us friends.
Sincerely,
Peace of Christ.
Deborah

So saddened to hear of Maxine’s passing. We have such fond memories of the farm….Maxine trying to teach us piano…..bless her heart…. I (Robin) was a terrible student! Memories of our folks playing cards and other games while we kids entertained ourselves. Janice making cream puffs and Brian training his calf. Will cherish those moments. Your mom always had a smile on. Such a lovely lady. Our thoughts are with all of you at this time. Hugs, Robin & Kristen Emery

Maxine was a very special lady, with many gifts and talents. Our pleasure in meeting her was through 4 of our children having piano lessons...this followed by playing bridge games. She managed to coax one of our sons to get his grade 8 piano. She told him in no uncertain terms that piano lessons took precedent over sports. Our sincerest condolences to all the family. Dear Janice, Brian, Wayne and family
I have many fond memnories of the one and only Maxine Gregory and all were filled with her wide smile and loving demeanour, and pie in some cases. My favourite memory was us girls having a pyjama party and watching movies in Maxine’s bedroom at the apartment on Wharncliffe. She was a watchful mom, always concerned about the best for her Jannie and I know she’ll still be watching out for her family in spirit. Condolences and Love from Lisa King, Ron Johnson and Charlotte Johnson.

I first “met” Maxine when I was 3 or 4, when she was giving my older sister piano lessons, in a home in Melbourne, ON, and got to know her better after meeting Wayne on a Grade 8 field trip with the three Caradoc Township elementary schools and becoming friends.
Maxine always had a smile on her face, was very welcoming anytime our group of friends got together in their home, and anytime I met her in public. I will never forget the spread she and George put on for Wayne’s 18th birthday.
My sincere condolences to Wayne, Brian, Janice & your families. Your Mother will always be remembered with fond memories.

Maxine was my piano teacher for many years, but also a true friend. We could talk for hours, and her beloved cat Millie loved me, so I would pet sit while she traveled. Unfortunately I moved away right before covid, so it had not been safe to visit on my brief trips back to Ontario, but I will miss those visits where she would want to know what I was working on and if I had met a nice man yet... sorry Maxine, not yet;-)
She was so supportive of me and and proud of me pursuing flight training. She loved to see women succeed where they used to not be able too.
I have thought of her often out here, and will miss her, and send love and prayers to her loved ones, especially Janice, through whom we first met!
I suspect Maxine will be dancing again in heaven, free of the pain and limited mobility and I am happy for her in that!
God bless,
Elly Boersema
